slashgirl
(n.): A female person who "sees the world through slash-colored glasses," i.e., sees
homoerotic subtext in books, movies, and television shows, even though
those who created those books, movies, and TV shows did not necessarily
intend such
homoerotic subtext.
fanfiction (n.): writings that
are derived from another work, as in Harry
Potter fanfiction -- fiction not by J.K. Rowling about the Harry Potter series.
slash (n., v.): a subgenre of
fanfiction that deals specifically with homoerotic content. Can be used
as a noun ("I usually write Star Wars
slash") or verb ("I slashed Aragorn
and Frodo in my latest Lord of the
Rings piece").
With this knowledge, you may proceed. Be aware that some of the content
here is explicitly
homoerotic, and not intended for
people under the age of 18. Also be
aware that none of the
content here should be read by people who are not interested in and
intrigued by homoerotic fanfiction.
